Ken has now been giving gardening advice on BBC Essex for over 20 years, and has had his own programme since 1992. He has broadcast from all the major gardening events across the country including Chelsea Flower Show, Hampton Court Flower Show and Gardeners World Live, as well as attending local gardening events in Essex. His two hour Saturday programme includes discussion about gardening where he and his experts answer the listeners gardening problems. As the winning act they went on to perform in front of thousands of people in Chelmsford Town Centre at the Christmas lights switch on.
